If you think on the basis of time then in these days every people give more of its time to computer rather then to its family. We can observe this pattern easily that time spend on computer is increasing wheras time spent on family is decreasing day by day. This thing also cause separation of families. And it also increase number os Divrce case. So share your opinion how to avoid become less addicted towards your computer.

I think it's some bs going on there. The thing with internet is that it got it all.. Instead of watching television we download movies and watch it in the computer, instead of listening to the normal radio we stream it online, instead of going to work we work at home with help of a computer, insteaad of reading a newspaper we read it online. In other words, I belive we spend the same time with our families as we would have without the internet or maybe even more but we use internet for a lot of things today (almost everything) and that's why some people get a feeling that it's wrong and think about people who do not have computer and come to a big city where everyone surf all day long. Of course they will start complain because they will feel like a bunch of noobs :p

its not that we are more towards computers rather than our families...but in my view, i play both part but i have a fixed time to sit in front of computers.. and whenever my family needs me i am there....see, its very difficult to survive with just single salary in home and i am the who is earning... so i look for some other part time income, which is required for my family....i want them to live a good healthy life and for that if i spend little bit more time on computer then my family understands me and never complain about that.... its not that how much time you spend on the computer but how much you love, understand each other......

I spend a LOT of time on the internet, however, it's usually because I'm doing school work, and most of my courses are through the university's website! However, I do not ignore my family, and if I am needed, I help out.

I think it all depends on how much time is devoted to the computer and internet. My husband always uses a computer but since it is mostly work related it is okay to me. I do not care how long does it take for him to use computer because it does not happen everyday. He gives more time to me when he has no work. Even if he uses the computer he shares to me what he is doing and we both enjoy what we are getting from the internet. It also helps us updated because when he is at work we do chat through windows messenger. I like the idea that we are both compatible checking collectible toys over the internet and we both go together in meeting the seller. We have both accounts in Facebook but I have Friendster and he does not have it. We share the use of computers and we do not spend the whole day using it. We spend more time together with our son. So maybe my advice is that couples should prioritize their love ones over computers and internet. They can't be replaced unlike internet that will stay as long as their are humans.

For i can compare my family to the internet becuase the computer is only a things it can talk or cant feel what you fell, but your family can support you anytime when you down, never compare that two.
