Is there a software (a free one) that can create multiple email accounts? I see projects which say that a service provider must be able to provide them with 1000 email accounts (yahoo, gmail, etc)? Is it possible?

Such 'projects' can only be highly suspicious. Most (if not all) free email account providers have a security code which is not machine readable (they vary in their effectiveness) in order to prevent such software from being able to create accounts. That alone should tell you that it is undesirable!
I can think of a number of reasons why someone would want a large number of email addresses. All of them involve spamming or related activities. If you can think of one legitimate reason for wanting so many addresses, I would be interested to hear of it.

Yes, you are right about these projects being suspicious. As for me I'd like to have email addresses but of real people and I do have a lot of them. I use them for email marketing. The reason why I started this discussion is that I found such projects in getafreelancer.com and I am curious to know if there is a software out there.
