Hi there! Biomedical engineering is a good choice. I think this is not a common course that almost everyone wants to enroll in. You might have a bigger chance of working in a good company since very few takes this course so there is less competition in your field. So, think about it twice or more than twice before you give up. I know it's hard to finish something that you're not interested to do anymore. But if not Biomedical engineering ,what's your second choice? You don't have anything in mind yet I bet hehe. If you can't finish the course for you then at least do it for your parents. Make them proud and don't disappoint them. Hope that helps. Ciao!

It is very coincident.I also major in biomedical engineering. There are many professional emphasises of the specialty.I don't know what is your professional emphasis.Mine is neuropharmacology.I use the Wistar mouse to test and study analgestic mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine. To tell the truth i dislike the specialty precviously.I majored in electronic and information engineering during my college time.I had to change to biomedical engineering when i attended the reexamination of postgraduate because i was brushed off by my first-choice school. Now i find i love my present major gradulately. I think having choose the specialty we should adotp ourselves to accept it and love it.There is an old saying that interest is the best teacher. If we love it we can study well.

Why did you choose that major in the first place? What year are u right now? If ur in 1 or 2 yr you can still shift ur major if you want. But if ur graduating right now, i suggest that u finish ur major and after graduating if ur still not happy or interested you take another course which you think you like the most.

Well..Biomedical is a great field to be involved in today with the advancements going on in that direction.Studying something just for the sake of a degree is really boring as you mentioned. However, the scope for the field is now so tremendous that you can think of some product or utility that can be helpful to people..you know something like a prosthetic arm,and just imagine the joy of the person using it..you can change their lives. Its a great feeling.isn't it?So once you have an objective to work for, which is more important than your life,it is called passion.Once your heart is filled with passion then your studying and working can change lives.Things flow for you.Good Luck.

Hey man. Well, first of all I have no idea about your course. But I'll tell you this... I myself am in the same position as you. I'm currently taking P.T .. Physical Therapy and it's driving me nuts because of all the things we need to memorize and hell lot of thins to read but I keep myself motivated by being self-less. I'm doing this for my parents and just partially for myself. I might not love my course but I will learn to love it for their sake. Just finish it man. I bet you didn't want to go to gradeschool and highschool like me because I'm lazy lol but you don't have a choice because it's mandatory and you don't have options. That's the only thing that makes college so damn hard... having options. Be a man. A man finishes what he started. Get that diploma for your family. Get it for your dad... for your mom... your siblings. Get it to see their faces smile with happiness. Get it to hear them speak those words.. "I'm proud of you". Get it to finish what you started...
