It's only addicting if you play it alot and if you have really hard goals for yourself to reach but if you are just like me and enjoy the game nice and slow you can enjoy and not get addicted.

I think it is a very addicting. Most of the games are very good and makes people to stay on the computer. I also sometimes spend too much time on computer playing computer games.

yeah it can be addicting, but tbh.... people need to take breaks every now and then.... I do play WoW quite abit, but I do tend to take breaks. Some people just are not able to stop playing, so really there fault at times. but i still thing WoW is awesome :P haha.

WoW is addictive because it simulates an ideal that people who play it would like to hold themselves to. It allows them to live thier fantasy for however long they are playing it and gives them the validation that they seek in life. Unlike a more traditional video game, MMORPG (is that correct acronym?) allow playes to "connect" to others in a game that can be in essense never ending. There is NO endgame on WoW. There are constantly things to do, people to talk to, quests, etc to keep people in front of thier screens. It simulates real life if life was full of dragons and battles. People know that they are playing a game but it certian aspects become "like life". It becomes a replacement for real life in the sense that you are hardly dissappointed in WoW. And even if you are, you can just respawn and it's as if nothing happened. The people that become addicted are not "weak". They are just people looking for something in thier lives and they found WoW. WoW addiction is a serious problem though and should not be taken lightly.

One simple word....YES! Oh my gosh is it addicting. I could play the game for hours as long as I have someone to chat with which is why I like being in guilds and groups. I tend to keep talking to people and enjoy myself while playing. Though I have caused some fights in the past LOL.

Indeed WoW can be really addicting in some cases. I played WoW (not counting only original) for like 3 years. Now my game time expired and I don't have money to get new time and I'm really ok with it.

WoW is very addicting, but its also a lot of fun. Personally I've been playing the game for several years now on and off. Mostly when I'm at school and away from home theres a lot more free time and its a great way to kill some time. I've met some good people through the game and its a lot of fun to play with them. It's one of those things though that people who haven't experienced it just think its stupid and you're wasting your time and your a loser, but once people try it they realize and they think "o ok, i see what you mean now".
