calcium is necessary for bone strength, teeth, nervous system etc. when we drink cow's milk and goat milk and their dairy products ,we can get more calcium daily .and we can take calcium supplements also daily to get bone strength.i am not ponopause lady, but we indians take buffalo milk and its dairy products. we take curd or yogurt of buffalo milk and it give more calcium for us. smoking and drinking beverages can decrease calcium levels of us.we should eat lots of fruits and vegetables. we should not get temptation to eat potato too.we should do Exercises like weight-lifting which will keep our bones strong and healthy. monopause ladies can take 1,000 to 1,500 milligrams per day .orange juice and low fat yogurt can give us more calcium.

My doctor recommends to drink 500 mg of calcium everyday so i take 1 tab daily to avoid osteoporosis. I don't have any osteoporosis as of now but to stay fit and healthy it is much better to prevent it rather than cure it. You can take calcium daily because its important in our body. Good luck!
