what is your good deed for the day

Wow! thats really a kind deed. I really appreciate that. So far today, I didn't get a chance to do anything good for others till now. However, when I came to office today morning, I saw that one of my subordinate was not present in office, till that time. I called him and came to know the reason, that he is late due to some problem with his bike. As I daily have to send a report to my seniors, for their attendance with in-out time. I marked him as present on time. Here, I know I cheated my company by not being honest with my job, but not sure if I really did good to that employee by maintaining his goodwill in office. Hope, God will forgive me for this cheating I did.
