why do men

LOL The world may never know. . But on a more serious note, you just haven't met the RIGHT guys yet if you think ALL men are a**holes. Because they aren't - that's obviously just a misconstrued stereotype.

I believe it is attributed to the "jock issue" or alpha male. Men that are in nature jerks or a**holes are trying to protray a dominant statue or presence. It is mainly used to make themselves look bigger then they really are. In other animal species on the planet, the males will puff out their chest this is the same concept. The problem is that in the human brain, once a male has or is trying to obtain the alpha position in a group or even in a relationship, they don't know how to turn it off or when they have taken it too far. This is one of the reasons why women view men as animals or dogs. They have a natural instinct to be the best or the one with higher power.

oh no someone has upset you hope its not that serious, tho onto the discussion its not just men who can be a-holes some women can be too. Take my ex the mother to my kids but anyhow lets not go there. Hope your ok, and unfortunatly everybody male or female have the ability to be an a-hole. have a nice easter.

I would say the same reason women have to such B***ches. That is not a very nice thing to say, but in the end I think the reasons behind the attitudes are the same. I don't know the exact reasons though, and I disagree about the alpha male thing, because even the guys who accept that they will never be the leader have the potential to be great a**holes. Just as all women have the potential to be great b***ches. It is the potential it is in all of us. There is usually a catalyst though, and in my own personal experience that catalyst can be the strangest of things.
