cant quit but want to

it seems i cant quit smoking no matter how bag i want to i tryed so many times i tryed all diffrent kind of things and they never worked its frusterating my kids keep saying they want me and my husband to quit but i have tryed a million times i even tryed cutting down but that didnt work either because when i am mad i smoke even more,i dont see how some people quit so easy and i am having suck a hard time with it,

My mom was like this when I was growing up. Then when I was 13, she went to the doctor because she had "heartburn" for 4 days, and none of the medication was working to get rid of it. The doctor told her the pain wasn't heart burn, it was that a hole had formed in her lung, and it collapsed. The doctor said you must quit smoking or you will probably die inside of 5 years, she was...35 at the time. So, she just decided to not do it anymore. I doubt that will help you. But that is what did it for her. She was "forced" to make the decision and stick to it. I am told it is harder to quit smoking then to stop taking heroine if that makes you feel any better about having a hard time of it. Aside from that all I can say is, when you truly, subconsciously honestly want to quit, make the decision and stick to it. Then it will probably be a lot easier. But don't take my advice to strongly, I quit after my first puff. Coughed my throat raw, there was blood, it was gross and bad. And that was that for me.
