Lima Beans in Mixed Vegetables

Nobody in my house likes lima beans. Just about every bag of mixed vegetables in the stores has lima beans in them. I have found maybe two brands that don't have lima beans in them. Are there really that many people out there that like lima beans so much that they have to be in just about every brand of mixed veggies?

I don't know if that is so. But, I do know that I like mines by itself, cooked in some light butter. I love to add black pepper in it. My grandmother told me that my lover loved lima beans when she was alive. Maybe that is why I love to eat them. I don't too much like to eat lima beans mixed up as vegetables.

Maybe their in there cause no one else will eat them any of other way....I mean who buys lima beans in cans, or craves it.....

i love them. we call them butterbeans here, tennessee talk, lol. if u don't like them u just don't like them. guess u could just make your own mixed veggies from canned or frozen veggies,

NO. But they are cheap, and good for you. Great fillers. That is why. However, did you ever consider making your own mixed vegetables, just buy a whole bunch of veggies, wash em up, cut them. Put them in freezer bags, freeze them. One day you do a lot of work, then you can have your own personal blend. And save money for many days to come. Consider it. Will be better for you too, because they always blanch veggies, and that reduces the nutrient content.

There is always time dear, its how you choose to use it. It may not be worth your hour or so, for the many dollars you will save. I understand it is not worth it to many people. But it is more then worth it for me. I cut really fast, and never cut myself 
. And then I can listen to some music, or watch the TV at the same time. Before I know it I am stocked up. I do it everyday

i usually squish them up and throw them in soups.
and my supposedly lima bean hating family is none the wiser.

I hate lima beans. Although if you let them dry out and flick em at person, I heard they sting pretty good.

My husband doesn't like lima beans but he's the only one in the house that doesn't. Pretty much everyone I know loves lima beans LOL My family are really big in veggies.
