What is a good 3d multiplayer racing game?

Basically title says it all except, I need a racing game that is not like Nascar racing. I need it to be fun(obviously) and you should be able to go offroad and its not just a circle track. Thanks! Oh, and it need to be for pc.

Just take your wallet, go to the gameshop, ask for RACE DRIVER GRID!!! Woooo... its gonna B alrite!! Online will makes you more interesting with the game. It wouldnot be bored anymore. Just take a good seat and play for it!
