do you think that with such knowledge now toothpastes would mean no dentist?

it's possible, right? i mean the only way anyone would get a cavity now is infrequent and improper brushing. toothpaste technology now prevents the weakening of the teeth, right?

The point is that we do not need dentists only for cavities or other bad-diet induced diseases. Most times, especially when we are younger, our mouth and teeth develop in a bad way and that is why we need braces sometimes in our early years. Or the growth of wisdom teeth cannot be kept controlled by a toothpaste, you need a dentist to take them out if they start bothering. Unfortunately we will always need dentists for one reason or the other. Sure new toothpastes can reduce our need to visit them, but for that also a good dental higiene is enough :)

i forgot those other cases that need to be fixed by a dentist. thank you for reminding me. i had a brother that my parents couldn't figure out the cause of his misaligned teeth and multiple type of same teeth. yeah, we needed to bring him to the dentist for that.
