Do dreams forsee what is about to happen in your life?

For the longest time when i was a little kid i would have a dream seeing my parent fighting and gettin divorced. When i would tell them about this dream that i had they would simply laugh and say were never getting divorced were happy together. About tens years later my father was caught cheating n my mom and they did in fact get divorced. I know that could have happened to anyone but heres another one.. i had this dream where i would wake up in the middle of the night and for some reason open up my curtians(window veiwing the backyard) and see a dark shady figure looking into my window face planted on the glass. One night i woke up in a cold sweat, hairs on my neck sticking up, goosebumps all over me i decided to go get a drink of water. Then after i calmed down i wanted to go smoke a cigarette. Now i was 16 at the time and my parents would have killed me had they have known i smoked. My front and back door were terribly loud so i would simply go out my window(i lived on the first floor). when i opened my curtians there stood a man looking directly at me smiling face planted on the glass i turned around i grabbed my bat looked back and he was gone. i called the police and he was caught shortly after not too far from my house. This couldn't possibly be just a coincidence could it? Now i'm having this dream were someone enters my apartment and is stealing my things while im sleeping and i wake up only to be killed once i exit my room into the view of my robbers. Could my mind be trying to tell me something? Is this just a dream or is it something more?

You seem to have a gift of something in you. I might say that if you could research or meet someone with the same experience as yours to really know that you can see and foretell future events then good for you because in your latest dreams it involves you and your life. You might be saved by your own dreams if it really happens.
In my case I do not have any dream that is related to the future but for me dreams are just the inner mind expressing himself from within. That is why some dreams may be kind of abstract because it is done by my subconscious mind.

I don't really know, but looking at it biblically, dreams can be a medium from God or from the enemy. For me, dreams are reflections of your situation lately, usually when I consciously know that trouble is about to come and I have no clue how to get out of it, I would have real stormy waves in my dreams, I don't know but guess it's just stress. Better pray for God given dreams then! ^-^

Dreams really can't foretell the future. I am sure of it, however, dreams, scientifically, are the things in our sub-conscious, what we want to happen if we are the one taking the lead. Also, dreams tells us our most inner desire and our most inner feelings. Pardon me but from my point of view, it is just part of your wild imagination. Now, if you are really being bothered by that dream, then increase the security of your house, add more locks to your windows and doors and having a dog in your house as a guard will help too. In this case, you will feel more at ease and your dreams will turn out to be good.

In my opinion, i don't really believe about dreams foreseeing what is about to happen in your life though there are some instances that happen similar to one's dream, I think i was just a coincidence and nothing to do with the dream you had. Maybe its just one's belief and i also do respect others opinion about it. There's nothing wrong if you do belief, its just your on personal preferences.

hello, I'm a scientist of sorts, well to the genral community I'm just scary do to how much thinking & reading I do. your suffering the aftermath of precoginiton or dreaming the future. The USA did reasearch for years on what we call esp or extra sensory perception. What it most likely means is the your brain is thinking ahead of it's time. Literally, belive it or not you can control this by questinable methods. I will only disclose if you asks, because it is long & painstaking

The dreams that we witness when we are in sub-conscious stage have still remained mysterious since long. Most often,dreams have remained imaginative mental phenomena that do not match with reality.The coincidence of some incidences with with real life situations are very rarely reported. It is also reported that dreams reveal indirectly certain indications of future incidents that lies beyond normal human understanding for arriving at a logical conclusion. Since we fail to retain the memory of dreams for a long time,we find no possible clue how to correlate it with future incidents. Thanks.

In my own case, I have the same strange things happening in my life. I was never a believer of such things like the third eye, ghosts, and the like and I'm not a fan of any horror movies. Yet the weird thing that's happening to me is that most of my dreams are becoming true. I don't know what's behind this but believe me, whatever people might say. Everytime I'm dreaming something weird, I'm keeping it in a diary just to record it and have it read later when it happens.
Remember the movie Next starring Nicholas Cage?

I sometimes have dreams that are scary. I treat my dreams as a sign about something will happen. I don't know when, but I know they will bound to happen, all of my dreams came true in some time. I don't know what dreams are really doing in our life, but for some reasons, they could be a sign of something.

no, according to me most of the time it doesn't. i used to listen to some stories where such things used to happen but now i think it was all a lie
