What kind of movies do you prefer between these two

There are a lot of movie watchers around here.Some like watching good thought provoking movies and some prefer typical commercial movies.These kind of two cinemas do not have any fight in between them,but for sure the audiences are different.So,respond stating which kind of movie do you prefer.Happy mylotting,friends.

I prefer non-commercial type of movies. Maybe because of the endings usually are so predictable already that I am looking for quality movies especially in the story, cinematography and editing. That is why I like INDIE movies so much compared to commercial movies. Especially here in the Philippines that most of the commercial movies SUCKED...

Hi lodyllesovo,it obviously depends on the choice of the movie that an individual has.So,it will differ from one person to another.I also agree with you that most of the commercial films have typical endings.Anyway,thanks for responding to this discussion.

well for me i dont noe the diffrence betwwen the two types of movies of ehich u r talking about. i just see those movies which i like , for eg i like comedy movies , thriller, and movies that r cool.
for example i like movies like matrix , pirates of carrebian.

depends on mood, if i am too tired and want some entertainment, then i will go for commercial movie and if i am alright , fresh at mind and watching movie just for time pass, then i will prefer movies which are thought provoking and serious message givers.Maybe any kind of movie, if it is made by good professionals, a good director,having good music and actors then that movie will definitely wont bore you.

Hi eshaan,I want to thank you for responding to this discussion that I started.Well,I agree with you that it depends on the mood a certain bit.One will not love to watch a serious movie while he is tired and want some refreshment.But,good movies can always cheer you up.

Hi nainesh1,thanks for responding to this discussion which I started and showing your interest in it.Yes,a movie with good content can always hold its viewers to their seats and it really does not matter then if it has stars or not.Now a days,characters are more important than stars.

It really depends on what sort of mood I'm in although I would probably say I sway more towards the commercial cinema. This maybe down to the fact that the majority of movies which come to my attention are the commercial ones as those which tend to be thought provoking are not always given the publicity that commercial cinema gets.

Hi justszack,thanks for your response to this discussion and showing your interest.I think commercial movies are not always very bad.Now a days,commercial movies are made with social messages so they serve the social responsibility as well as the entertainment.

Hmm for me, i'd like a mix between those too. It'd be too boring for me to just watch thought provoking movies as it defeats the purpose of movies falling into the entertainment category if it makes you boring in the end. I'm not saying it can't be fun, it can be only that too much of anything weary of it yea? So it applies to commercial movies too. Therefore i prefer a mix of the two ^_^
It's just an opinion though, happy mylotting!

Hi mira91,thanks for the response you made here in this discussion.I also prefer a mix of both.Thought provoking movies are good for you when you are in a mood to see them.But,typical commercial cinemas are not always very healthy to watch.So,movies which are thought provoking as well as entertaining are the ones suggested by me.

What kind of movies I prefer depends absolutly on my mood. There are times when I want to watch a romantic movie ( I have my favorites that I watch over and over again) and there are other times when I want to watch a movie that makes me think.

Hi marguicha,thanks for taking your time and responding to this discussion.You are right that all depends on the mood.Even sometimes I am also in a mood for romantic ones,but always you cannot watch such movies.You must be bored then.Is not it?What do you say?
