Hi friends, I'd like to know if i can send money to near cebuana lhuillier pawnshops in our place in the philippines without using credit card or debit card on paypal? I only have $30 balance in my paypal account. Does anyone here have used Xoom.com to transfer their money?

Yes I did it twice already and its very easy to use. You can transfer funds starting from $25 and it increases by increments of five. So if you have $30 in your PayPal you can transfer $25 and the payment is $3.50 not that bad really because its much lesser than Western Union's charges.

Thank you for your response mariefe, may i ask how long did you wait before receiving your money transfer onced you've paid it on paypal? Did you receive it on Cebuana Lhuiller too?

No I send it to my bank account in PNB. I got it after more or less 30 minutes, As for Cebuana, I think you would also receive it in just a few minutes also or a for a few hours.

I am presently handling XOOM as our tie up company at Cebuana Lhuillier so i think i can help you with this.
Actually you can claim your money anywhere in the Philippines because we are "payout anywhere" money remittance company. The charge is $ 3.50 regardless of it's principal amount and you can claim it the same day that you transact with Cebuana.

I haven't tried to transfer money from paypal to xoom but it is interesting to know that it is possible!
