job loss for honesty?

Hello friends, it is quite often been noticed that people can go to any limit to save their job, may be cheat, gamble, politics, and all, as job is everything for them, and the soul inside them hardly matters for them.
One of my co-worker in Accounts department made mistake in accounts and blamed his subordinate, for the mistake he have done, due to this his subordinate was fired. But I was helpless for that employee, I tried, but couldn't help. I just don't know how people can do like this to save their job?
What do you think? how far can you go for your job? Does honest have no means for you?

I don't lie about my qualification and conditions when I applied for my current job. But I know there are people who does. Frankly speaking, we can't blame them. It's true that they're not honest but in this current economy condition, people are willing to do anything just to make sure they achieved anything to keep on living. Some people even steal. Just let it go. Eventually, things will show whether they are qualify for the job.

Honesty is the best quality. if we are not honest, it is impossible to gain others' trust. If we deceive others, ther are very likely to deceive you in turn.when
I meet someone who similar with your co-worker. when I was at work on last December and one part of my job was providing documents to our customers. Terrible things happened because one of my college provide the wrong versions to one of our customer. But she told my boss it was me. Oh my God! Fortunately, I keep the records for every mission and finally my boss trust me. I am upset and will never trust her anymore.

well honesty means a lot for me , i can this work of lying at all . i do tell lie some times , but then the inner guilt starts eating me . and i can bear that anymore, so now i just tell the truth irrespective of its future effects, now i like to keep my soul clean since it give me great happiness.
