Have you ever updated your cellphone's OS?

I have a moto z6 which is a phone with linux os.I like to expand its funcation.And i usually surf the net in order to find new os which is modified by some skillful users for my phone in some bbs.I would feel very happy when i saw the new beautiful wallpaper in the new os on my phone.Also through update my phone can have some new interesting function.That's so funy.
Have you ever updated your phone?Are you a master in modify the phone os?Share your experience on mylot.

No, my cell phone isn't a smart phone, it isn't that good. It is just one of those regular mobile phones that has a color screen and camera. I can't really afford any good smart phone, they cost an awful amount of money. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

There are no firmware updates for my phone and I'm pretty sure I can't install any new OS on it. I was thinking of modding my phone to get new skins for it but I won't risk something messing up since this is what happened to people when I read the forums for skin modding for my particular phone.
