I have a hot tub that neighborhood children like to play in. I don't know the parents of all the children. I am concerned about being sued should anythingh appen to a child while they are on my property or in my hot tub. I want a hold harmless agreement for the parents to sign before I allow their children onto my property.

Personally, I would not allow the children in the hot tub unless their own parent is there to supervise them. You are right to be concerned about liability. Besides liability, considere the consequences if you are negligent in some way.

Hot tubs are not for kids. Hot tubs are not for kids. Hot tubs are not for kids.

Did the parents of some of them at least orally approve?

Thanks for the quick responses. Maybe I should have been a bit clearer in my message. I don't mind the children swimming in the hot tub (they aren't using it without my permission). I just want assurance that their parents consent to them using the hot tub and that I have some protection from liability should something happen to them. I remember when I was a child a neighbor had a swimming pool that all the kids swam in. However, the parents had to sign a permission and hold harmless slip with emergency contact information. That's basically what I'm looking for.
