About making money on mylot.

Hi. I discovered mylot relatively soon and I don't know how this system works exactly. For example what brings you more money ? Adding a comment, creating a discussion or responding to another comment ? Furthermore I would like you to present your "tips and tricks" that you use for gaining more. Waiting for your response. :)

MyLot pays according to the quality of your participation. The algorithm is complicated and we are specifically told not to speculate on it. From the FAQs: "Discussion activity earnings are calculated based on a proprietary model that rewards quality responses, relevant discussions and images." "[b]What can I do to increase my earnings? [/b] * What an excellent question, and one we hope every myLot user will ask. * Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions. * Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic * Refer friends. For each person you send to myLot you will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their discussion and image earnings." You are well advised to read the Guidelines and to observe them. That way you will stand less chance of having discussions deleted.

Ok. Thanks for your response. Is it true that the more line you write the more money you get ? And by the way how do you get those stars with numbers inside ?

The better quality your discussion or response, the more you earn. Since it is generally true that 'quality' implies more than one sentence, perhaps it can be said that the more you write the better. You see your 'star' when you reach 100 posts (the number in brackets by your name). Stars are part of the Discussion Rating System and are determined by other users' assessment of whether your discussions and responses are 'good quality'.
