Hypothyroid

I'm 27. I think I'd still pass as "young". I had Thyroid Cancer last year. I was also diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. I had my surgery last year and after that, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism in September. I have experienced a lot of the effects of having an underactive thyroid, but what I didn't like most and what gave me a really difficult time is this: I was gaining weight. It was awful. People ask me what happened. I explain and despite it, they seem not to understand the situation. It's really hard.
