No new posts Is the Current On Going Recession Affecting You?

Well I'm sure by now all of you must be aware of the significant amount of recession that persists at the moment. Several banks and companies have crashed as a result of this. For Eg: Lehman Brothers. This has left several people jobless round the globe especially in countries like the US, UK, India, Gulf etc and many more.
What are your thoughts regarding the same? When do you think all this would come to an end? Is your country affected by all this badly? Are you or any of your family members a victim of recession? Or any of your friends you know of who have lost their jobs and sitting at home waiting for an opportunity come their way?
Well I was really hit hard and was jobless for several months. But at the moment I'm thankful to God that I have a job. But can never say what might happen tomorrow. I could be asked to leave the office as well. Also several of my friends are jobless. This is all from my side. Would definitely like to hear your views and comments.

I think the recession in US area would be around 2 years more. But the recession in Asia would be over sooner since they are not directly involved with the root of the recession.
Fortunately for my family and close friends, we are not really that much affected by recession. A cousin of mine lost a job but found one within a month, too. And well, the salary increase and bonuses were smaller compared to previous years, but other than that, I don't think it affected my family and friends that much.
