How important is it for you to be on time? Does it bother you if others are late? how late? I once knew someone who broke off his marriage engagement because his fiancee was always late. Cough cough um that was lame if you ask me.

Hi norahfaith, Why wouldn't that person just call the wedding off and tell the person that they don't love them instead of using silly excuse. I hate being leat for anything, I'd rather be early then late, I once played a trick on my friend who is always late for everything, I set the clock one hour early and we manage to get there in time lo1!! Yeah I've used that method for myself and my husband has done that to me without telling me. It helps if the time is not too fast. or else you wonder what's going on

Well I always try to be on time. A five minutes here and there is ok, but above that will annoy me. I would always prefer people callin me and tellin me that they will be late due to so and so situations.

Being on time is extremely important to me .....bordering on compulsive behavior! If I have an appointment at an unfamiliar location, I will either make a dry run to it beforehand or leave sufficient time to arrive early. I find it annoying when others are habitually late ... but not if it occurs occasionally. Actually breaking off that engagement was probably the smart thing to do ....especially if the guy was a stickler for promptness. Better to realize your incompatibilities BEFORE marriage and avoid a life of frustration and eventual divorce.

I am always on time, even early. I hate being late and get all in a flap the very rare times that is has happened. My son sadly does not take after me and is always late every time he fixes an appointment with me, whether he's coming here toeat or picking me up. I've got used to that now though and he has other good qualities so I turn a blind eye Breaking off a marriage with such a futile excuse? I should think his future wife was well rid of him and she should be thankful he let her free just in time!

Let's say, I am not a punctuality person. Sometimes I might late for many things. I did try to do my best to be on time. Well, on time can be a good habit, and good practice. Keep on be punctual.

Well, it may seem kind of lame to call off an engagement because someone is chronically late but there are two things at work here. 1) This was more than likely the straw that broke the camel's back. No one ends a relationship over just one thing. 2) Always being late shows a lack of planning and concern for other people's time. How you feel about someone who is always late is about attitude and responsibility and if someone is so lax in this area they are more than likely lax in other areas and when you are alinging yourself with someone LEGALLY for better or worse you want to know that this person can handle the challenges.

I always try to be on time if not a little earlier. It's probably because i dislike doing things in a hurry. I do appreciate the same from others. as well.

Broke off his marriage engagement because his fiancee was always late? That's quite serious and i guess he had enough of her lateness.. haha =D IF one had not try waiting before, they will never understand the painful process of waiting, when the other party keeps saying 'coming, coming', but yet to see them really coming after a few hours.. lol =D I dun like the feeling of being late and thus i'm always early, be it by half an hr or so, i wont mind.. Because the feeling of waiting is not nice and instead of letting others wait for me, i will prefer to wait for others instead.. haha =D

it's very important for me. while i don't want to wait for someone. but i think i would never do such way to punish someone because he/she is not on time. i myself think that i am not always on time too. especially when you live in the city that always have traffic jam.

Being late is rude, I'm always on time and if you ride with me and you're running late you'll be walking. Being late shows that their time isn't as valuable.

I do always make an effort to be on time or early ,I must admit that if people are always late I think of them as a bit disorganised and disrespectfull . When I make an arrangement with my friends I would hate to keep them waiting ..

Basically, I am not a kind of person who sticks with time always. I would always like to be on time whenever it matters. If someone make it late without informing me in advance, then it would definitely irritate me.

I am one who can not handle being late or people making me late. I am always early and if others make me late it puts me in such a bad mood...I think being on time is so important, I don't think it is fair sometimes as being late can upset other people well thought out plans...
