The Past and Present

How many of you out there have run into someone from your past that you never not even in your wildest dreams would think you would run into. Find yourself looking them in the face.well that's exactly what happened to me tonight I was putting gas into my car when i looked up to see a ghost from my past this individual was responsible for a certain event in my life that brought it all crashing to the ground. i was with my wife and daughter so i literally had to fight every fiber in me to not go over and confront this person. is there anyone out there that has gone through this or something close to what should i do

Wow. I'm not sure what you CAN do except either ignore them & pretend you don't seem them or go up to them and try to have a not-awkward conversation.
I've had a similar thing happen - although it was me running into one of my ex-boyfriends, who I had a really rocky (bad) relationship with for about 7 months in high school. He was older and took advantage of me (mostly emotionally). I ran into him at Target - and it was really awkward and he gave me his number to call him sometime (needless to say - I want nothing to do with him, so that number went straight to the trash). It was awkward and brought back memories that I didn't necessarily want to think about.
But it's bound to happen, and we just have to deal with it the best that we can.

Thats true i guess i just have to deal with the fact that whats done is done and i cant change that i have moved on from that part of my life now i have a daughter that i love very much and there is nothing i would do to chance fate if you know what i mean thanks for your response
