Kick their a$$es! LOL. Can't do anything but use our antivirus to see if it can help but most of the time if my pc is infected with viruses, they will disable Antiviruses and to make the matter worse, system Restore won't work too! Sad very sad to say that I only have one option and that is formatting my pc!

I am using symantech antivirus these days. It is a registered version because it has been provided by my interenet service provider. I use to update it once every 3-4 days. I have heard about caspersky but I think its manual update is not available, is it?

Lets see... How about booting from a linux live cd and running antivirus software there to remove what I can. If I absolutely can't remove the infection, save all of my personal data off onto an external hard drive, and wipe the operating system clean from the computer. Then reinstall the operating system and have a fresh new computer free of viruses.

Keep a good antivirus, I would suggest go for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 with non-blacklisted keys and regularly update it. Almost all potentially harmful viruses are detected and processed. A keygen file is potentially a virus, but need not be detected by many antiviruses and you wont like it to be deleted.... Try using Norton Ghost while formatting.....But I would recommend that formatting always is not the best option.

I think Kaspersky is one of the best and less costly than other antivirus. I think some of the software and websites also contains virus.

I phone my aftercare team at Dell. They walk me through both the analysis, and what I need to do to clean my computer up. Twice, I have had to deformat and reformat my computer but with their guidance, it was a breeze! lol. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I use Avira Anti-vir. It is free, although you can get a paid version. What you have to do, is to go to Norton or one of the sites and find out what the virus is and it will tell you how to get rid of it. It is a complicated process and you may have to format your hard drive. So why get the problem in the first place? Get a free anti virus that also warns you about trojans, make sure you use Windows Free firewall and then do what it says when the pop up says you have a virus. then it will give you a choice of removing, quarantining, or letting it be.

I have the anti-virus software for my computer. I use Kingsoft and it works fine. If unfortunately my computer is infected the computer virus and I will try to simplest way. That is to recovery my operating system to a date that my computer still worked fine. If it doesn't work, then I will try to find the solution via the net. If there is no way to solve it, then I will have to format my computer and reinstall everything again. I love China

i think formatting your pc is an extreme solution so in many cases it would be the last one in relation to problem which are really developed and so you can't fix them normally..in the majority of cases virus or malaware problem can be fixed without formatting naturally you should act when the problem appear for the first time and not waiting that virus or malaware spred their action!!As regards anti-virus i think there are really much may be some as avg,bit defender, avira or even nod are ok as antivirus softwares

Computer virus similar like disease to our human body. So we wont kill ourself.. so we just try to find good medicin or meet our best doctor to refine our health. So a good computer savy never go for formatting of PC.
