i prefer the seat next to the driver as much as possible. especially if it is in a van. i am claustrophobic. for buses, i prefer the seat near the window or the one near a clear aisle.

I am usually the driver or co-driver so my seat is on the front. If I am a passenger, I usually sit next to the window (on either side is fine) so I can enjoy the view. I don't know how to sit in the middle, it feel awkward.

Most of the time when I am in a vehicle I am the driver with my husband in the seat next to me. He doesn't drive, never has. If anyone else does the driving I usually sit in the back seat. When someone else, one of my duaghters drives my van I sit in the bakc with my great - grandaughter. She loves it. Alex is 10 and I can't wait to get home to the USA on May 28th and see her. I have been gone since November 7th 2008.

I always like to sit facing the direction the train is traveling and to get a place next to a window. On a bus I like to sit by the window near the front of the bus the opposite side to the driver. On a ferry it helps if I move to where ever I feel well sometimes that is on the deck. In a car I prefer to sit on the front passenger seat. When I go by plane I like to have a window seat but not be over the wing.

When I am in a bus I always prefer to seat beside the window because I love seeing view outside. My husband knows me well because he always let me sit first. I always occupy the window side. When we are in a van and beside the driver he occupies the window side because he wants me to be on the safer side. Besides the view is available in front so I could still see it.

I would take care not to sit over the wheels to avoid bumping in vehicles of poor shock absorbing. Besides, I would sit away from the outlets of air conditioners. The direct air blowing over would cause headache.

When I ride in a car, I like the front seat. It has more room for my feet. As for riding in buses, I like the first seat if possible(it has more room also, usually). There I like the aisle seat. I had back surgery and need to extend my legs is possible.

Me, I prefer sitting beside the car's door especially at the right side. I dont know but it feels comfortable for me when sitting beside the car's door.
