Help me loose weight!

I need help. I am trying to loose 20 pounds in 2 months! I went on the cabbage soup diet and lost 10 pounds in 1 week but it came back as fast as I lost it! I cant go to a gym to excersise as im a single mommy of two kids. I do walk alot! When we get nice weather! Which is not often! I love my food that is my problem! I eat and eat and eat! My biggest problem is I eat in the night time! Can anyone help me with my weightloss? Just to let you know ill tell you some things aobut my eating. I do not eat any red meat! Encluding pork. I do not eat any shellfish! My weekness is mashed potatoes! PLEASE HELP. I need ideas to help me loose weight!

hi.... try to drink a lot of aqua.... do not drink cold drink and sodas... or u can try to drink hot or warm green tea... tea is good for losing weight... try to move ur body, a lot of movement can make ur metabolism works...

I have a good mathod you can try.Breakfast: twe eggs and a cucumber.lunch: two eggs and a cucumber.Dinner: a egg and a cucumber.if you can not stand the hunger,you can eat an apple or a tomato.Persist for a week,you can loose 2.5kg to 5kg

Ok i am wondering how this works? Eggs are high in calories and fat! if you have 5 eggs a day that is alot! I have never heard that eggs adn cucombuer help you loose weight.

each egg has the heat about 60-80k,and a cucumber has the heat about 25k.in total,this mathod has maximum of 475 calories per day. but each person consumes 2000 calories per day at least.therefore,there are the heat approximately more than 1000 calories,which come from your body fat.I have used this mathod,the effect is pretty good.however,you must adhere to ``If you want to return to normal diet,it is necessary to step-by-step.

What do you put on your mashed potato? If it's gravy, you really will gain weight? try to eat banana every morning or have a banana in your every meal. I heard that banaba can burn some calories in our body. And drink lemon tea it also helps.

Oic i didnt now about that.. try the lemon ice tea if you want. I heard on the janice dickenson modeling agency, it's a show. One model mention that she drink lemon ice tea for her diet.

Hi no no I dont use gravy. The only problems with bananas is they are loaded in 3 types of sugars that dont desolve by the body to easy. Also they bind you up! Like major constipation!

A best way to loose weight is by following a strict diet chart prescribed by a dietitian. And then practicing Yoga regularly. Other free hand exercises will also work,but yoga will be the best.Above all,start the day with green tea or with lemon water without sugar. Take it in empty stomach.

The things that i cut out of my diet to lose weight were any thing with High Fructose corn syrup in it. Potatoes, bread, and pasta. You should also eat small meals thought the day. Also if i can not get out to walk because of the weather, I put on some music and dance through the house, while doing my house work (the kids will enjoy this also). I also added a product called salba to my diet everyday. Its a whole food that contains a lot of fiber. I get it at the local health food store.

I would love to cut out potatoes but thats not easy! I dont really eat bread its full of yucky! LOL I havent heard of salba but i will check it out thanx!

I am assuming that you were trying to say take a jog every morning. Well being a single mom of two kids jogging is not an option. Also the weather here is no good for jogging!

hmm nice.. i am trying to lose weight myself and i wish i can do a little more about my weight problem.. number 1 problem is me being too lazy to exercise. hehe i need to shed off at least 10 pounds. :)

First find out if your local gym offers daycare. I work at our local YMCA in the childwatch and we watch members children in the building for up to an hour and a half while the parents work out it is free with a gym membership. Otherwise workout dvd's are the best The Biggest Loser dvd's have helped me to lose weight.You can aslo try the walk at home tapes you bascially walk a mile or two in one spot they tapes are by a girl named Denise can't remeber the last name.I will be honest you will have to control your food habit though or the weight won't come off. Make sure you eat at least 1200 calories a day though. Try mashing up califlower for mashed potatos I have never tried it but it was a tip given on Biggest Loser.

Hi thanx for the info. Unfortunatly my kids cant go to a daycare. I cant afford a gym membership let alone pay for a daycare to watch them. I will get the biggest loser dvd's! The coliflower mashed like potatoes is ok only if its covered in cheeze! I guess that kind of defets the purpose i guess!

I don't know if this will help you after all of the great advice people have been giving you, but this is a no-fail way to lose 20 pounds, and it will continue to keep your metabolism motivated after the 20 pounds are off for as long as you continue to do it. One small (6 to 8oz) glass of (100%, no sugar added) grapefruit juice before each meal. I have a wonderful nutritionist in NY who gave me this excellent tidbit. The grapefruit juice is a natural diuretic, so it rids your body of the excess water our bodies sometimes holds on to. Also, grapefruit juice is a metabolism stimulator, it will get your stomach juices flowing and ready to break down the food you eat before you even eat it. I have told numerous friends about this tip and they have all lost weight. A different tip is to reorder what you eat. Make lunch your biggest meal; eat the mashed potatoes and starchy yummy stuff at lunch time. Then eat a moderate dinner, including more vegetables than starches. Then if you are a nighttime snacker, make your nighttime snacks healthier, gorge on as much fruit as you want. The pounds will plummet off. By making lunch the big meal of the day you still have all the rest of the day to burn off those calories, chasing after your kids, working, and whatever else. After dinner there is never a way to burn off those calories because we are all traditionally winding down for the day. I hope these tips help you. I'd love to know if the grapefruit juice works for you. Some say it is too bitter, but trust me--it works!

I have heard of a trick right here on the internet, try eating your biggest meal at the beginning of the day and eat lighter meals later. That way, while you are out doing whatever you need to do, the calories from your big meal will be burning all day long. Try it. It can't hurt anything.

So ill give you a couple of exercises to do. If you have a step stool in your house you can jump on that by changing legs every time and do about 20 of those on each leg. After you have done that try getting a towel and fold it in half and jump from side to side from the towel to the other side of the towel and do about 20 of those. This shouldn't take to long. After that if you h ave some water bottles or maybe some cans try puling them over your head and do about 20 of those on each hand. You will start feeling the burn. You don't have to go to a gym to loose weight usually you can use things just right at home like you will be doing. Hope i was able to help. Throw on some up beat music while doing this to get you going also. I just saw these on TV not to long ago and have thought about doing all this to.

You gotta stay off the potatoes friend cz i heard that it goes straight to your thighs...Yea i know, frightening isn't it...? Can't you st least take a job round the block or something when your husband's come home? If you could do that, then at least you have some form of exercise cz i think that to lose weight, exercising is necessary...^_^

I know I know but its a weekness! If you read my post it sais I am a SINGLE mom! I dont have a husband! Im alone with the kids! And I also said that its hard to get outside as the weather here sucks! we have rain for weeks at a time!

Losing weight isn't a mysterious process. In fact, weight loss doesn't even have to involve strange diets, special exercises or even the 'magic' of pills or fitness gadgets. Maybe you can make small changes each and every day. and you'll slowly (but surely) lose those extra pounds. You can try this some habit, Instead having an afternoon coke just drink a glass of water. Instead using your break to catch up on work or eat a snack, Walk up and down a flight of stairs for 10 minutes it will help you burn more fats. Also instead of watching television after work, try to do 10 minutes of yoga. Focusing on daily changes is the best way to reach your goals. No, you won't lose weight overnight but isn't it better to permanently change your life for the better and you're on your way to better health.

Hey there, I guess my post will prove helpful to you.You don't have to take out extra time.Just rectify your habits. I tried this on myself and it worked wonders. Remember nobody can loose weight within a week or so.Also no dieting plan lasts long apart from being hard to follow and your weight returns as soon as you leave the gym or the diet. But the strategy I am going to tell you will atleast help you enjoy your life and feel good. 1. The first and the foremost thing to remember is that stop gulping down your meals. Eat it slowly,chewing every single bite properly. This not only helps in digestion but your tummy also looks lean and doesn't give you a bloated stomach. 2. Its very hard to avoid your favorite things. I mean looking at them and wishing you could eat them makes me cry atleast. So I would suggest eat anything you like but in a smaller quantity. You will have the feeling that you had atleast tasted your favorite foods. I think this strategy is better than dieting for months and then suddenly going to a party and savouring all those extra calory foods with the excuse that "its just for one day!!! I know this won't make me fat". This instead makes you gain weight because your body's food cycle is disturbed. 3. Its very hard nowadays to take out some extra time for walks or gyms, so I would suggest that whenever and wherever you are on foot just try to move fast.This will increase your body metabolism.Moreover, its good to avoid cars when you could go by foot.Just a thought!!! 4. Now another thing. Taking out time for exercise also seems a mess atleast to me. Climbing up stairs and coming down fast is just a wonderful thing and I think you do it already.Just stick to it. Moreover whenever you are lying inbed for sleep and aren't really sleepy.Then there's an exercise for you. Stretch out your body. Put your hands beneath your head stretching out your arms in 180 degrees position, I mean in a straight line.Ok now try to move your body(consisting of head and abdomen) towards the lower part of your body. In other words try to sit with your hands and arms in that position I told you. Try to do this fast. At least twenty times. Ok now with the same position of hands and arms, now try to lift your legs(sticked together) as up as you can. Do it atleast twenty. This is an excellent exercise and you don't need to take out extra time. Remember not to have a pillow underneath your head. 5. Everyone says drinking plenty of water is good but how to. We mostly drink water when we are thirsty.Isn't it. Now here's what I do. And I figured it out myself. Just don't let your urine be yellow. I know it sounds funny but, this yellow color is a signal that you aren't drinking enough water. Your urine should be colorless..Now coming back to the point that how to drink more water.Keep a bottle in handy or what you can do is that whenever you drink water,just drink two glasses instead of one. Two in the morning at breakfast.Two in the afternoon at lunch and two in the night at dinner.That makes 6. Two more to go to make 8. That you can adjust in between.It'll also prove good for your skin. Goodluck and do try:)

Eating right and exercise are the keys. Moderate your portions. If you are eating any junk food, stop! Cut out all the chips and cookies. Stop drinking soda, even diet, they're loaded with sodium. The easiest way to stop eating it is to stop buying it. Don't do the fad diets all they really do is add back twice as much as you lost. Eat sensibly, fully rounded meals. Since you don't eat red meats, make sure you're still getting enough protien and such. If you're eating at night, it's probably because you are bored. Try to do needlepoint or something with yarn. This will keep your hands busy, but will also keep the food away because you can't get the oils from the food on the yarn or thread. Playing with the kids is great exercise. When they're out in the yard, go play with them too. When you go to the grocery store, don't park in the closest spot, park a bit farther away to get some more walking in. Good Luck!!!

well as a medical professional i would not suggest suddenly altering your diet to something like that..because u are just starving your body of glucose.the vagus nerve from the brain is connected to the liver which signals the secretion of acid and also when cells are starved the brain tells u to eat more while it uses reserve fat in the body and glycogen to fulfill the needs temporarily so this type diet wnt help.. you need to eat food rich in glucose and minerals and less in fat so 1 cut down eating outside food. 2 eat more fruits and vegatables and rice. 3 dont not eat large meals at a time but rather eat small meals multiple times a day 4 the most important of all-cardoivascular exercise. do a nice jog gor atleast 30 min.it should be a brisk walk or jog so u can feel that strain in your muscles. 5 donot sleep as soon as you eat.give it sometimebecause if u sleep your body wont have any need of energy so it goes into adding more fat and weight to your body. thats it..follow this routine for a month and see the change. dont go with those type of diets which proomise losing tons of weight in very little time..

hi , i know its really difficult to lose weight.And its better to lose weight slow than losing it fast.because it regains that weight again or sometimes more.so try to plan something which u can do for a longer time and at the same time can lose weight .Inorder to lose weight u should be mentally strong and should be strong about ur aim .it shouldnt change by seeing potatoes. i know its difficult to overcome ur weakness but whenever u see pototoes try one thing .go infront of mirror and look yourself and think how fat you are ,etc etc.even if it doesnt work then think of those things which affected u because of your weight n the insult or the confidence you lost because of your weight or the things which you cant do .try to be strong and make your aim strong and try to achieve it as much as u can.If you cant overcome your weakness then have potatoes but just taste it and slowly you can overcome your weakness by reducing its quantities.hope this will help you if you need anyother help juz let me know. all the best n enjoy ur life

the best thing to do is to just start morning walk and join any classes meant for losing weight.i guarantee u if u are hardworking and fully dedicated for losing weight then success is yours.
