Just As The Crocus Were Growing We Had A Record Snow Fall For April

Well it's a nice clean and white looking day outside my window as we had a record snow fall this weekend. 30cm deeps and it's still not quite finished. It keeps pretending to stop but then when you look back out the window it's snowing again. My son just came back from heading off to work because the roads out of town are just to slippery to be safe. Strange Easter. We were right down to bare ground in our yard, all except a couple of the corners where snow had built up over the winter. Even the crocus and lilies were coming up already. Not sure if they will survive three days of this but we will see once it all clears.

Hey! Webmann sorry about the global warming! LOL! I my vast experience, which includes living all around the USA and being a plant lover, I'm pretty sure unless you get a hard freeze your crocus will survive. I had that happen to me in Oregon a couple times and thought they were doomed and to my great surprise they were there healthy and looking good after the snow melted! Good Luck! tdemex
