Parvin Mahajan sparked a new controversy with some writings, notes running into 175 pages titled "My Album". Noway they should allow the publishing of the book by this pervert. Even the contents should not have came out of jail, the fact behind what he did was is that he was disgruntled because his interests were not taken care of and he got used to get everything for free. Writings by such a pervert are just nonsense and should be taken as that only. The timings of these writings also raise many questions, might be part of a political conspiracy.

It is not possible to stop him from publishing the book. Only after the publication the book may be banned. I think this is nothing but a political conspiracy. In fact, the intellectual level of Pravin is not as such which is suitable for him to write a book. Something wrong is going on behind the picture. Media should not give importance about his book. A dark spot on humanity is being treated like star.

Yes but they can ban it immediately after publishing, if they want. Media should not give importance, but they will continue to do so as far as they make big bucks out of it. Hes really an eye candy for media, helped them a lot.. started from the Parmod murder case to Rahul in big boss.

Don't they have any censer kind of thing for publishiing a book? I mean after it being published many could read it before ban would take place!

There is a whole list of books banned after publishing.. which would not have been the case if they had something like censoring before publishing.. so no approval is required i guess.. but not 100% sure about that.

According to my knowledge all the writers's books get to publish only when it is being scrutinized by some authority, just like censering a movie before it coming to the theater. If Mr. Mahajan wants to publish a book then he can do that because no law says that a prisoner can't write a book. He has his rights of doing it. The timing could be an issue. The publishing should be delayed till election gets over!

Contents of this are already on news channels, and the book titled My Album- around 175 pages- will be published in Marathhi and English soon. In this book he has written about several aspects of Parmod's personal, professional and political life, his principles political associates e.t.c, most of them not laudatory. These are some of his lines "Parmod did every thing his way either either "buying" everybody or "scaring" them into submission to his will". He has gone to an extent calling him a fixer, dealer, double dealer, conspirator e.t.c just like Amar Singh.

A prisoner should be allowed to write a book, but not a book based on others family matter.

Well, Pravin Mahajan has every right to publish his side of the story but definitely the timing is wrong. Its election time and any material which can influence votes, should be postponed now. Promod Mahajan was an influential leader of BJP and his personal life and its trials and tribulations can still have an impact on the readers. But maybe after the elections, nobody would be really much interested in what happened between the two brothers and the book would not sell that well. So its economics too, apart from politics.

Why he should be allowed to write on a person whom he murdered, to make sure that he kill his character and image too? is it.. and who is he to write anything about what kind of relation Parmod Mahajan shared with his family, why should he be allowed to further ruin there family and social life.

Though i dunno who he is, and what he had done.. But one cant stop him from publishing a book if he wants to, and provided that he manage to find someone to do so for him.. Besides if contents of the book is so sensitive, most publishers wont wanna take the risk even though it might really sell.. haha =D Publishing a book is not so simple and it depends on alot of factors too ^_^

Getting a publisher would not be a problem in this case, its is a very hyped case and one or other will be ready to publish it.

isnt this the beauty of democracy that a prisoner can write a book and publish it. I understand ur concern about the nature of comments on late bjp leader that are going to be leveled and i think public scrutiny will be a tested to say the least. these kind of things are common amongst major politicians . My relative worked as the gm of taj in mumbai and narrated the heinous incidents of the very leader, and so did he for quite a few others across the spectrum of indian political parties. So book or no book , dont we all know the truth?

Its not an essence of democracy to allow a person who killed his own brother now to defame his character too. Its ok till he speaks only about his political life. His family will decide whether he was good family man or not, Parvin is no one to speak anything about what kinda relation he had with his family.

My relative worked as the gm of taj in mumbai and narrated the heinous incidents of the very leader, You may send your relative to jail. He has told you about that 'very same leader' in private. You don't have any right to say it publicly. Every one has one's personal life and without proof people should not indulge in mud-slinging. Your comment is written in very bad taste.

But i dont get it , he has a right to comment on the character of the person concerned , if there is something really offensive , then the court will decide on the matter.
