saw something that made me mad Clearly abussed child ssent home with parents

This really makes me want to cry.... I believe that they were supposed to have interviewed the child as to what happened, and the parents separately within 72 hours of being reported. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that that is what the laws are at least in my state.

Prior or not, an investigation should have been made before the child was sent home. I think if the parents hadn't of done it and it was someone else they would have been appreciative. Maybe not at first but later. Stuff like this happens more then we know and it's sad when cases don't even get reported, children don't even get treated...

Clearly, something should been done, whether there are prior reports or not. After all, she is only a child. One thing that I'm sure all children wish for and want is to feel safe. And if we can't do that, then what is the point to reproduce and have children? I feel so sorry for this poor little girl. She is virtually defenseless. What's the worse that could happen, if there's an investigation? That they discover that there is no child abuse.

I am really surprised that no investigation was done before that poor child was sent home. I think that if I had been that doctor, I would have made up something to keep her there at the hospital as long as I possiblyy could have. Then, I would have closely monitored the way sheinteracted with her parents when they thought no one was watching. A lot of hospitals have cameras in the rooms now. Before the parents got there, I would try to get the ckild to tell me what happened to her and made sure to document everythign she said.

o my god thats terrible. why could they not atleast quetion the parents. this kind of stuff makes me want to kill the parents. this kind of stuff makes me sick. i want to kill those parents. how could you ever do that to a little girl. they sont do enouph to protect those children. this girl was beat with a stick. grr i getting my seft all worked up. go post by the way you realy got my mind going and thinking. kittenskysong is a neat name by the way. alright i am done raving lol bye.

being one who finds laws all the time, I must point out that a corrupted system you can't expect it to worj the way it should, & be careful TV shows have a way of warping how you feeel about a situation & add what really isn't their

This is an outrage! I have had children's services in my business twice in my lifetime, over false allegations at that, and they looked deeper into my case than they did this one! There were burns and marks on the child!!! The next time a report is made, this child may not even be living anymore!!! Is this was DCFS really wants? There is always a such thing as a first allegation, and all allegations are supposed to be investigated, whether true or false! They let this child go back to her parents that have allowed her to be burned, for her back to be beat, yet they were in my business for a month over something that a jealous neighbor said that clearly wasn't true? This is a mess, and this city should be sued for dropping the ball. Thank God for teachers and doctors like the ones in this story. At least they did the right thing.

Man that is horrible.It seems as if they are quick to take kids out of the home that somtimes dont need to be more then they take the one who accualy need it are the ones who dont get emidiate attention. sucks how thing work these days. I feel bad for the little girl i really do:(

How dare they! Children are to be cherished, not abused. No matter how many or how few reports there were, clear indications of abuse should have prevented the parents from being with that chile until at least a very thorough investigation could be done! There are plenty of people who would really love to have a child added to their household, to love and care for properly. This is a reavesty!

It sounds terrible.so pitiful little girl.I don't know how her parents can do this.Children are inculpable.Are they her own parents?I think beat children is unforgiveable.Can you tell me the end of her parents?thank you
