I just read that article from Yahoo OMG that Simon Cowell the most popular and obnoxious judge in American Idol is leaving the show and that this would be his final season... According to the report, he is getting tired doing 3 shows and 4 transatlantic flights every week and he wants to leave one show. The most probable show would be the American Idol which was being done in the US. The other two shows were in the UK. American Idol won't be fun anymore without Simon's jibe.. I want to hear from you guys. What do you think?

I agree! Simon is practically the WHOLE show. He might be mean (or too blunt about things), but he's the star of the show, pretty much. I think without him, ratings would probably drop A LOT as a result of him leaving.

Actually rating is already dropping and the show is desperate...

He makes me crazy and most of the time I want to punch him in the face (LOL) but I would hate to see him leave. He makes the show! He is the only one that you can be sure is being 100% honest about how good or bad they really are.

Yeah I agree but I think sometimes he is exaggerating LOL~~ Sometimes I think that the performance is awesome and he would still think otherwise...He has a very high standard.

He does but I think you kind of have to in this kind of situation. These people are winning a career and need to be able to compete with the stars that are already out there.

You maybe right. Or maybe Simon in just trying to push them to be better if not best right? More like challenging them?

American Idol will never be the same without Simon Cowell. He is the catalyst that makes the show a hit. The show's unpredictability factor is over which means less buzz. I don't think anybody in the business can replace Simon Cowell. I'm just short of saying that he is American Idol.
