Josh and Anna Duggar are pregnant with their first child

It was just announced today on Good Morning America that Josh and Anna Duggar are pregnant with their first child. She's about 3 months along. It says that she'll be due in October. They're going to go with the letter M for their names.

I was wondering when this was going to happen, and when they were going to let the world know about it.

So the original family has eighteen children and now the oldest one of them is about to become a parent. They got married in September last year and are expecting their first baby in October 2009. The eighteen children's names begin with the letter 'J'. It will be lovely that these children will have names that begin with 'M'. Josh and Anna will let God decide how many children they will have. That is such a cute story.

It is a cute story. However, could you imagine what it's going to be like if every child has the same feelings about children as their parents do? Assuming Jordyn is the last child for Michelle and Jim Bob, if each one has the same number, that's going to be 324 grandchildren. I don't even want to even think about the number of great grandchildren. I guess it's a good thing they built that 7000 square foot home. They're going to need it at Christmas and Thanksgiving.

This is so awesome!!! I've been waiting to see the new show to find out if the test was pos or not. I wonder if Josh and Anna plan on having as many as mom and dad Dugger?

What pregnancy test? Did I miss something on one of the shows?
I have the feelings they're going to have as many children as they're able to. They're not going to put the brakes on anywhere. Although, I would hope that if something happens and it would kill Anna to have more children, then they'd do something. I would hope that they'd value the mother's life more than anything.

I had been waiting for that announcement ever since John and Anna married. I am very happy for them and I am certain they will be wonderful parents. I do agree with the one poster though that if all duggar children follow in their parents footsteps it will be quite a crowd at thanksgiving and christmas time!

Oh well to each their own and I hope they can support this baby as clearly they are not established enough in life IMO to bring a baby into the world just yet. But I'm sure his parents will have sound advice that doesn't burden the taxpayers like Octomom.

I'm thinking that before Josh even proposed to Anna, he made sure that he was financially sound. So, I'm thinking that they're on the right track to being able to handle all this. I doubt they're going to have any problems in that department.

This is a really weird Twilight Zone moment for me because I know a woman by that name and I was really confused trying to wrap my brain around the title of this discussion. It was as if I was suddenly unable to understand English! My Anna is not married and most definitely NOT pregnant, but I would love to see the look on her face if someone were to send her a headline about this!

I guess that would confuse anyone. I probably wouldn't have gone with this title, except I had no choice. I found another title I wanted to use, but I'd already sent the post.
