Just doing some research as i'm thinking of starting work again a bit with Reviewstream. Just curious as to which reviews landed you a regular rate on reviewstream. Hopefully this will help others out as well considering their regular rate is $2.00 at the moment which can be quite good if you had a better idea of what to try to write reviews in. Thanks for anyone who helps out.

so far i've only written 4 reviews. i received bulk rate for 3 reviews then $2 for a review about a beauty product.. i'm going to concentrate now on the most requested products ....probably i'll get the $2 per review...

Thanks for the input. I'm actually working on a blog entry for my blog about ways to help you to get regular rate on your reviews if you would be interested when I get it up :) By the way, payment proof of reviewstream on Mylot: http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2048751.aspx I've seen at least 5-6 other ones as well and when I get paid i'll probably post up mine. Them using a Yahoo account doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me when they could be using a professional business email but nontheless, that member did get paid by reviewstream. Plus the fact that this site has been around for a long time so something must be keeping them afloat and considering that most "scam sites" topple over in a matter of a few months and this has been around for as long as it is it leads me to believe it's more legit then non-legit. I think most of the angry opinions of people of this site are one's that try to get away with writing a bad grammar and short articles that don't really benefit Reviewstream from a business and professional standpoint.

Yep that, and be careful. I think some of the people that have trouble are ones that seem to repost their review somewhere else such as on a blog or something like that which is against reviewstream's rules. I've had no problems with them thus far so i'm not sure why they get so hostile of people writing about their "bad experiences". They're probably one of the best, highest-paying review a site and be as opionated as you like places I know of.

Well, my review of the sega CD video game "Corpse Killer" got me $2.00, you find it by just typing it in on the site, it should be the only review of it there I believe. Other than that I've written over 80 reviews so far that have made 40 cents each, i dont care really because im shooting for high quantity review numbers and theres more than a million things to review on this planet.

I had a movie review published there but I don't know how to check my balance. The site is a little hard to navigate. Can you tell me how?

Aha, exactly. Which makes reviewstream a very profitable place since they almost always pay the $0.40 bulk rate no matter what it seems as long as you actually take the time to write an OK review of the product or service. You can request your total to your email here: http://www.reviewstream.com/acctotal.php After requesting it wait about 10-15 minutes and check your email. Generally it arrives instantly but not always.

Mmm....my advice is to forget about Reviewstream and maybe stick to Associated Content where you have the potential of earning at least $4 or $5 or even higher per article. I've heard a lot of negative things about Reviewstream. I've heard from more than one person, that it seems when one is close to payout which is $50.00, suddenly they delete reviews claiming they aren't good enough...others have told me too that they suddenly seem to delete account when a person is starting to reach payout.

omg! really! come to think of it, i haven't seen any payment proof from this site... hayyyy... i hope this site pays...because it would take me a lot of articles to reach $50... i'll probably try submitting more reviews now so that i'll know first hand if this is really true...

I have seen payment proofs by other people but haven't reached payout myself. I am confident that I will get paid though, :) Plus, the thing with AssociatedContent is that you don't get a guaranteed upfront pay for every article and I believe if you're an international user you only can earn off of the "1000 impressions is x number of money" deal where as I believe reviewstream pays anyone with a Paypal account and you can almost always get at least the $0.40 bulk rate as long as you write a decent article sharing your opinion. People are much better at opinions articles(which is what Reviewstream looks for) then writing articles that will actually get them paid on AssociatedContent(AC says in a few places that the "creative writing" articles, and reviews of various movies, tv shows, and other various types of reviews are likely to not be paid the upfront payment.) for that $1-$20 rate. Plus, reviewstream doesn't ask for as much personal information like AssociatedContent does.

how do you get paid here? Through Paypal or Alertpay?

It pays through Paypal. $0.40 per bulk rate review and $2.00 per regular rate review. the payout is once you reach $50.00 in your account. You write reviews, basically. Be opinionated and just share your opinion on subjects. Fairly easy to make money on and i've seen numerous payment proofs.
