Where do you get your subject?

As I was explaining the game plan for mylot to a potential referral, I was asked the question myself. How do you come up with a discussion subject? I myself try to go from my list first and then I think of a question that just popped in my head during the day or something I feel may need to be said to others that day. A reminder, a feeling, or some advice I may be pondering. So what's your scoop?

The easy way is not to try to think of a discussion subject, but simply content yourself with looking for interesting posts and responding to them with your honest opinion.
Sooner or later you will find yourself wondering about a specific topic and then you will have a discussion to offer. In the course of a normal day we all have very diverse conversations and encounter many varied situations, so a topic of interest will not elude you for too long.
Too many Mylot users are eager to churn out cast numbers of discussions and will ask anything to boost their activity, which does help the site and does offer the rest of us anything of real interest.
