When i switch on the power to my pc it starts to boot up and shows an error A:drive error i get the option to continue which i use but it restarts and shows the same problem before the desktop appears. I had this problem a few days back. I didnt use the pc for a day but from the next day the pc would boot and i could work on it although it still showed the error message at startup. Why do i get this problem and how do i fix it?

If you computer is the same as mine and you don't have drive A, hit the Del button after you switch it on. That way you'll be brought to your sistem BIOS. Choose Standard CMOS Features - set the Drive A to none - hit Esc - choose Save & Exit Setup before you leave. If the error still appear after that, take it to a professional.

Is the A: drive your flopy drive? If It is, I think you should get your flopy fixd or just change a new one.

Hi Pratik.Make sure you didnot forget in the disk drives. If there isnt anythin. Then I would say open up the CPU chassis and clean the fan.Sometimes the fan gathers a lot of dust and it can be a reason as well. And if it still isnt working, then probably its something to be with your SMPS power unit, for which you may need to consult a hardware guy around.I hope this helps you in troubleshooting.Good Luck.

If your PC is keep on rebooting or restarting again and again automatically, it means that there is virus affected your computer. You should bring your computer to the nearest computer help center so that computer technicians can check on your computer. I suggest that even if you have a good anti-virus, it's non sense if yo9u do not use it. Scan your computer regularly, before and after using it.

I've never heard of anything like this. I wish I could help you but when it comes to working on computers, I don't know anything about them.
