I was doing some online searches today when I came across some information about common human foods which are toxic to cats.
I was surprised as I had no idea these foods would be harmful to cats. Two in particular are onions and garlic which are said to contain certain substances which destroys the red blood cells in cats which leads to anemia.
Others may upset their stomach while others make them gassy.

Were you aware of all this?
Cats are such loud and persistent beggars I usually just give them some of the family meal.
Do you do the same or do you keep your cat(s) on a strict cat's food diet?

Hi tjades. Yup, I've been aware quite a long time about certain foods which are toxic to pets, especially cats. For instance I've always known chocolate is a real no-no for cats, same with tomatoes. There are many plants which are toxic to cats and dogs as well. Thanks for sharing this info though. More people should be aware of it.
