A useful plant in Indonesia

In Indonesia, many plants that are useful, can be used for health (herbs, etc.) or beauty (cosmetics, etc.). But not yet processed maximally. Some people use a direct, knowing that if the plant is useful. Do you know the plant is and for what you use?

Betel leaves are used as a stimulant, an antiseptic and a breath-freshener. In Ayurvedic medicine, they are used as an aphrodisiac. In Malaysia, they are used to treat headaches, arthritis and joint pain.

Daun sirih is very popular because of property that can cure various diseases, namely from the nosebleed (blood out of the nose) until the diarrhea and sore teeth.

Hi Indah, thanks for sharing.. Useful addition to diarrhea, Sirih (Indonesia) or Piper betle Linn. (Latin), Bethel (France), Bethel/Betelhe/Vitele (Portugal), Ju Jiang (China) useful for: eye pain, eczema, mouth odor, itchy skin , remove whelk, gum bleeding, nosebleed, bronchitis, cough, thrush, wounds, fluoride albus, heart disease, syphilis, allergy, sore teeth.
