Hi guys.Easy, this is not a survey, it just popped in my mind that i want to know how many people are using the same brand as i did. I used ACER. We have 5 girls living in the same bulding, everyone have a different brand, we have HP, IBM, LENOVEL, ACER(That's me), i forgot the last one. But what is the brand you are using? Thanks for sharing!

Hi vivianchen, as far as I know, we are not allowed to make any survey at mylot. I’m sorry to say that I’m not using the same brand, Acer computer as yours. My desktop is Dell brand and I have been using it for nearly two years. It has a 19 inches lcd screen, so I like to do my office works and watching movies using it all the time. I use a Toshiba brand laptop right now. I bought it in the second week of August, after sending the desktop for repairing. I love my laptop, for it is portable and convenient and can be used at anywhere to surf net where wifi service is available. posting.

You are most welcome vivianchen. don’t worry, I know it clearly. Yours is completely not, that’s why I dare to answer it. I always avoid to make any reply to discussion violates mylot rules. If I do, I also would give simple and brief answer only, for it might be deleted at anytime. I believe boy and girl are good in computer assembly equally, as long as she has great interest in this. You would be skillful as well in this after accumulation of ample experience later on.

Hi Lkbooi, Thank for your posting and your reminding. I've stated clearly in my discussion that this is not a survey, it's just personal curious about what computer brand other people are using. I now know that so many people enjoying assemly their own computer, i think that is a very cool thing, i wish i could do so, but i am not very good at that, i think boys are all good at computer assemly, they just love to do that.

So your in China. I think Apple Inc. has a direct selling in HongKong or a real Apple Store and not reseller. It is cheaper to buy Apple products on a real Apple store. You can try the Apple Mac Mini or the MacBook White they are the least price. Or some refurbished or used Apple Macs in the Internet try Apple.com Store for refurbished Apple products. Or try eBay and make bidding and of course be careful also in eBay they have lots of fake sellers. Choose seller with Paypal and according to the rules and regulation of eBay. I found and bought my brand new model of iMac by searching on the Internet by local sellers and I paid it cash to have a not much discount or lowered price but it fitted my budget. To know more about Apple Macs just go to apple.com. Or watch videos on youtube.

I think that I have the best computer ever! Mine is the Acer Aspire - the netbook. It weighs 2 pounds and the screen is 8.9 inches. Its tiny! But it has all the capabilities of a regular laptop. It's one of my favorite things ever.

Hi Genlone, Nowadays, people get to know computer better and better, some of the people just like to assemble their own computers. Some of my friends are really good at this, although the computer does not have a brand, but it works perfectly.

It is a nice discussion. Just now,I have noticed that my PC is an assembled one.I am not using the PC of same brand. It was long, since I am using it. And I almost forgot that I don't use a PC of a particular brand.

i use a Dell desktop and a ASUS laptop. in the past, i've had a Dell laptop and i must say that they are all great computers! each of them has it's own strong points but also it's weaknesses. but the best computer is the one you make from parts! what you want and what you need!

Ok my laptop is an HP. Before that I had a Toshiba. I am not sure which one I prefer but the Toshiba was running on Vista and it was literally driving me crazy. I think the problem was with the software not withe the machine itself. HP has some very cool features, but Toshiba's general look is much better. The HP I have is squarish in layout while the Toshiba had cool rounded edges. As for system specifications I think that they are both on the same level.

I am an Intel fan as long as I have a PC. I would like to have a MAC but it is to expensive and I don't find a lot of sofware for it in my country. As for PC's, even if I am an Intel fan I am drooling]after DELL compuners.
