It is generally accepted that confidence plays a very important role in one's life . Confidence in yourself is the first step on the road to success. But one of my students showed me his disconfidence yesterday . he felt very disppointed with his status . He can't trust himeself during the exames recently . So he came to my office and told me he wanted to abandon his study this semeter . Although I persude him so much and help hime buid up self-confidence . I am worring about him by now . What should you say to him in order to change his attitude ?

Hello Teacher, I suggest to follow these simple steps:1. Tell your student that his lack of confidence is normal, explain to him that we all human beings pass through the same steps before we build a solid personality. 2. Tell him a story about your personal life showing how you had the same fears, and let him know that he is not alone. 3. Help him with the exams and show him his weaknesses and his strong points too. 4. Once he gets a little confidence, build upon that, little by little.
