Free AntiVirus or Paid AntiVirus Software

Would you prefer a paid antivirus software for home use or the free home edition antivirus software provided by Avast?

the free antivrus programs are good but if you need 100% protection, it is recommended you buy a good antivirus program.

I used some free software before but they were not good enough. I will see how Avast works.

what do you mean by home use? are you gonna use your computer without internet???????? if so then its for home use else its not for home use coz internet connects you from the whole world. paid version is always better although only antivirus can't protect your system full that you also might be knowing......... use node32 whatever your use..trust me i m using it from last 2 yrs and never got any problem but i keep my open always for anyfile also........ for free use bit defender...its no.1

It is strange that you don't know the difference between home use and office/commercial use. I am going to use Avast for sometime till I find that it is useless.
