I am swamped with writing work, would anyone like to try paid writing?

I usually post this in the "make extra money" place but most people there think it doesn't pay enough and go back to clicking their PTCs.
I write articles for blogs, websites and such, all G-rated family friendly. I'm swamped, we can't seem to get anyone that wants to do this--we have 3 writers and a big backlog of work. Would anyone who knows English well like to try your hand at this? Articles are 300-500 words long on a variety of subjects and you get paid through Paypal. I like the work, it provides me a good extra income but it certainly takes more effort than clicking ads.

Hello Dragon,
I already do some contract writing on the side. I find it truly enjoyable. So, if you would be so inclined, I would appreciate learning about other contract sources.

When you raise your rates out of 3rd world slave labor rates of $2 per 500 word article, then maybe you'll get a few writers who actually will provide you with the quality you're after.
Until then, you'll have to stick with the newbies or inexperienced writers who think $2 is good.

I've never written an article on anything. You said it was G rated family things. Do they give you your ideas & your limitations on your resources ect? That's why I've been worried about starting a blog on any topic other than my life ;0)

I just finished a series of articles on the restaurant business. I just had to research the subjects and write a few hundred words about them. It's very easy, you just can't copy anyone else's words. You look up the info and put it in your own original words. They choose the topic. Restaurants, travel, sports, etc. I'll send you his address and if you're interested you can contact him. Thanks!

It depends on what the subject is. Some I am good at, but others not so much. So if it is how to do something, or directions, etc. I do not have the experience of a lot of people, and for me it is the time. I am quite busy at myLot, but I could look at it.

I do some freelance writing myself and generally enjoy writing. Itis very easy to ger burnt out mind you with article writing, blogging and promoting your blogs. There just doesnt seem to be enough time in the day.

It seems like you've gotten many responses. I'm not sure how much actual help you've gotten or what the quality has been, but I'd be interested in hearing more about it. I'm not a writer, but I've seen a lot of posts about it and I've always been a bit intrigued. Of course I'll understand if you need to pass me by, I mean, this really isn't my gig. Eh, but it could turn into a nice little hobby...

i just responded to someone's else discussion about a site that pays you to write articles for their clients it sounds almost indentical,they also pay thur paypal and their articles are 300-500 words and when you reach $25 you can request cashout i'm just wondering is this the same site, i won't name it ,but ,i'll give you their initals "TB"...If its the same site it sounds like a great site to earn extra money...

I don't think it's the same site, but while I was in surgery over the weekend my boss and his partner started a promotion. I don't know if they would do something along those lines or not but go ahead and try it. Only problem is, you give them all that work and might not get paid. Just saying be careful.

Hi Dragon, why not you post this discussion on the forum of Helium and Associated Content?
Those who read the forums are writers, I'm sure many of them will like to earn extra income for writing. Maybe you can sound out to your boss and let him write the post. He can state his requirements (eg the preferred topics) and even invite writers to apply for the writing jobs.
I do not know whether my English is up to the standard. Maybe you can check my articles and see whether my English standard is passable. I know it's below the standard for Constant Content.
