I want a quick and simple recipe for cookies with m&ms. I DO NOT like crunchy cookies, I want soft ones. I'd like to make cookies tonight. Someone gimme some input!

I have a pretty good recipe and instead of chocolate chips add M&M's. Or do both Ingredients: 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter ( melt in a microwave or in a saucepan) 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups flour 1 (12oz) bag semi sweet chocolate chips or how ever many you want. I always add extra, or M&M's. 3/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt i don't recommend sea salt. use really fine table salt whisk sugars eggs butter and vanilla together until smooth in a separate bowl add the flour baking soda and salt together combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients with a wooden spoon but don't over mix it. Add your chocolate chips or m's scoop heaping tbsps onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. You can roll them in to little balls if you want to, i don't but its up to you. Try to space them 2 inches apart. Bake them at 375 for 12-16 minutes or until golden brown. Then just pop them out of the oven and onto a cooling rack and enjoy! They're delicious.

Instead of Butter use Butter flavor margarin, they come out over a 100% better. Softer, way better looking.. Let me know how it works out.

I've never tried that before. I always just let the butter cool to room temp so it is easier to mix. Thanks for the tip

I make a mean peanut butter cookie. You can find the recipe for cookies usually on the back of the flour bag believe it or not. I got mine from a website. The trick to a soft cook is not cooking them to long. Just watch them and as soon as they start to rise or look half way done get them out. They'll be chewy. But you can make any cookie with m&ms just use a recipe for chocolate chips and substitute the m&ms. Good luck hope they're scrumptious.
