As long as her babies have their eyes closed she will stay very close to them, I think their eyes open at about 10 days, I don't really remember but you can find that information on the internet. While she is feeding her young you need to make sure she has plenty to eat and frest water all the time. Enjoy the babies.

Be sure she is getting good nourishment and plenty of water around too. With her nursing she will dehyrate quicker if you dont have water around. She needs a good brand of dog food to keep her vitamins and strength up.
