Britian's Got Talent 2009

Thanks for the video it was great ans that woman can sing and I wouldn't be surprised if she won. She is a fabulous singer and she totally shocked them almost silent..she will go far and I hope she does so she can recognize her dreams now since she wasn't able to before..Thanks again for the privilege of watching that video.

I confess to never having watched the show LadyM. Someone sent me the link the other day and she really did knock my socks off. I thought that she was performance quality. Goodness knows what she is going to be like once she has had a little training. Good for her I say. We all deserve a little good fortune in our lives and I hope that this is part of hers.

I just saw this on the evening news. That lady has an awesome voice. They said right now she is the predicted winner. I told my husband, even if she got up there and didn't know how to sing.....you never judge a book by it's cover. I am glad that everyone did give her the respect she deserved.

I saw her on the news tonight and she's phenomenal! What a jewel, hidden all her life till she went on that show with all those smug, snickering people in the audience. I hope they learned something and I wish her great success!

LOL--I did a discussion about this too....Didn't realize you had done one. I was so amazed at this woman's voice I was crying my eyes out. I mean here she is this rathe frumpy, dumpy looking woman and when she came out the audience snickered, Piers and Simon were all but rolling their eyes...and then.......that first note she sang and it was like OMG...Wow! I hope she wins this contest as she truly deserves it. Last year I did a discussion about another very frumpy looking performer...Paul Potts who when he came on stage announced he was going to sing an opera piece...Did you ever see it? Loved it, not merely for her singing voice, but for the lesson we should take from it: people should stop judging by appearances!! There are many celebrities nowadays that have yet to prove their skills, but always get the spotlight. The rules need to be reversed, don't you think?

What a pleasure to see and hear Susan Boyle. I hope this is the beginning of wonderful things for her.
