Camping and Hiking Spots

Summer is almost here. My friends and I are planning to go camping and hiking for a weekend or even longer than that. We are in the DC-MD-VA area. So if you are in the same area and have been camping and hiking before, care to share some spots where we could go? Thank you.

DC-VA-MD area is Washinton DC, Virginia and Maryland area. Hope that helps.
