i wish i could have these for a pet owl

i think the owl is the most pretty bird when i was a kid i wish for a owl but where i do u live i can't have a owl here. but if i live on the fram i could that will be so nice.... everyone have one pets that they wish they could have... so tell me do u like owl????

I live outside of a small town in Florida and we have some large owls living in the neighborhood. They are very pretty but one of them set his sights on the old cat I had who was very thin and who liked to lay on the patio table on the deck in the evenings. I used to see the owl in the nearby tree staring at her...waiting for his chance to try to grab her. So, I had to spend a few evenings watching for him to show up and then scaring him away by banging on a pan lid with a spoon as soon as he landed in the tree. Owls are lovely, especially in flight, but they're hunters and I don't think they would make good pets.

thanks for tel me about the cats i didn;t know the owl eats cats i thourgh they just eat rats and yes i think they will not be good pets i have 3 cats and thanku form tell me that a owl will try to eat cats.

Owls will eat anything that is smaller then they are and that they can pick up and carry off. My oldest cat was very thin because she was so old and not very large in size so that why I think the owl was checking her out. They won't try to grab a younger adult cat but they would probably go after a kitten if it was out at night and someplace where it's easy to get...like laying on top of a patio table on a deck.
