When I was younger, I loved rock music. I would even play it really loud. I can't review for the exams without turning the radio out loud. I have noticed that my music preferences have changed over the years. I don't want to listen to rock music now and I prefer soft music. Is it because of age? Does this happen to you or it's just me?

I think we all go thru Music changes as we get older, and will often find music that used to impress us now is not the Best later on. It could be a lot due to age, but I also think it could stem from who the artist(s) are, and how they change around their music as well.

I also liked rock music when I was teenager and would love to hear heavy metal songs. Now a days, I prefer soft romantic songs. I do think music changes as we grow up. When we were teenagers we like mostly rock music and heavy metals as we grow up, we mostly like to hear soft songs.

I would guess that that's the way it is with most people. However, I think I'm just the opposite. When I was younger I listened to all sorts of rock and roll...classic rock, soft rock, pop, metal...and even a few other types of music when the mood hit me. But, now that I'm 41 I find that about the only music I want to listen to, 95 percent of the time, is heavy metal. I like it more now than I did when I was younger. I guess listening to metal helps to keep me young.

Yes it is. In my childhood days I like every type of songs. But now I am very choosy about the songs. Now I like only those songs which have give wording and good meaning as well.
