Do you save for a rainy day?

I do! Every time I receive a 10-peso coin in change, I set it aside. I keep the coins in a special container that I only open once a year. It's always a nice surprise to find out how much I've accumulated and saved in a year. One time I was able to save almost P5,000! It's a big help when Christmas comes around, or when an emergency comes up.

Same here. I save my 5 peso or 10 peso coin in a fish bowl. The last time I counted it, it's about 4000 pesos already. I then put it in my daughter's bank account. It's a big help of course especially if for emergency. I try to teach my daughter about saving. Whenever she have some coins (given to her by her grandma or aunts) she gives it back to me and say that I keep it for her.
