ive got some cousins that live quite close to where i live but hardly ever see them , I have just had an invite to a party , they are hiring a hall and asking all the family to get together .Im really looking forward to that I will see lots of people ive not seen for years .. Do you meet up with all of your extended family !!

My family is very close. Only on my mom's side, though, I never see or talk to my cousins on my dad's side. For some reason we have never been close to that side of the family. But my cousins on my mom's side, my two sets of them, we talk all the time. My one cousin lives ten states away, but we talk on the phone alot and even more commonly on email. This Easter I saw my other three cousins, who live five states away. I see them a few times a year, but we talk frequently (at least a few times a month, often more than that) I am lucky to have cousins that I am so close to. I think my cousins and I are as close as most sisters and brothers- we love to get together and have a lot of fun when we do. Easter with them was great.
