What is your favourite season of the year?

Which season do you prefeer? Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? And why do you prefeer that season the most?
Personally i find it really hard to choose between them, each season is unique, but in the end i think Spring or Summer wins my prefered season time.
Spring is the new start, after everything has been cold and white. Spring breens bright greens, and a few colors from the spring flowers with it, includeing the most lovely fresh air.
Summer is lovely warm, sometimes to warm, lots of colors and amazing sunsets. A lot of senses are flowing around from all the kinds of flowers you can imagine. The only thing i really hate about summer is that it means mosquito and hornet "time".
The Autumn carries the most amazing red and brown colors along its way, you start to be more indoor and its during the cozy afternoons with rain you watch a good movie, or do other things together with your family.
Winter can often be to cold, but when the frost sits on the trees, or the snow over the fields, it is pure beauty to look at. The Air starts to get more fresh again especially when it is cold and there is no skies on the heaven.

Mine is Autumn. I LOVE the fact that I now live in a place that has seasons! I grew up in Texas (they only have two), and now I live just north of Atlanta. The colors on the trees in the fall are just gorgeous!
I also love the first cool, crisp sunny day of fall. Where it is just cold enough to need a jacket again. I hate the cold, but I love that. Go figure. :)
Spring is second favorite, because of the start of the growing season, and the mating season for many creatures, which brings out breeding colors.
Winter is least favorite, because, as I said before, I HATE the cold!!

Yeah im not a fan of the cold weather either, the only time it is nice, is when it is a clear sky, and a little below freezing temperature, then the air you breathe seems so much fresher.

I cant be on skies for my life, so affraid to break my legs, but i bet it is funny. And the cold refreshing air for 5 minutes are just lovely. Especially the morning version of it, where the frost is still sitting on the trees and grass...

Yeah, there is definitely something about that crisp, cold air that is refreshing. As long as I'm not standing in it for any length of time. :) The only time I love the cold is when I'm snow skiing!

I prefer Monsoon season(jun-Aug). Here in India, Especially in Places like Kerala(Known as gods own country), there is an amazing monsoon season wherein there will be good rainfall coming in & its really fun playing in Rain!! Or Even a Ride with your girlfriend in the rain can be Exciting.

I like the rain also if it is warm in the weather sometimes rain is just "WANTED" - During the winter i hate rain, its cold and you end up freezing pretty fast...

Fall is my favorite...the colors, the temps (not too hot, not too cold) and the holidays (I love Halloween).
Spring is my second favorite b/c it's an end to what seems like the never-ending winter. Everything is bright and new and you have alot of fun holidays like Easter and St. Patty's Day.
Winter would be my third...although I don't like the cold and ice, I do like the sight of fresh fallen snow, hot cocoa, wrapping up in a cozy blanket and of course Christmas and Thanksgiving, not to mention ushering in the new year.
Summer sadly is my last favorite. Usually the heat is too hard for me to handle, I burn really easily and it seems like I spend months inside with the a/c going while wistfully wishing I could be outside.

Awww, so you are the "lobster" type, in the sense of 5min of sun and you will be turned into something looking like boiled lobster.

In the Philippines,we have only two seasons: Rainy Season and Dry Season. I prefer rainy season because the environment is so cool I don't need any electric fan and ice cream, hehehe. Besides, I am more relax and happy during rainy season.

Hay aint icecream always good :P yum yum. I can imagine how it is to live with the heat every day, if i had the same i might not be so forward looking towards the summer, but on the hot days during summer i wish it will become winter and snow soon. I guess the human always desire what they cannot have.

Definitely Spring. I mean, ALL seasons have their advantages & disadvantages - but I have to say that after a long winter, I LOVE seeing buds sprout & I love seeing life come back into the nature around me. I love seeing the grass turn green again, I love the lilacs we have that sprout in the spring time - and just in general, I love the transition from winter to summer. Thus, why I love spring so much. It's just gorgeous! And makes me happy.

I prefer a winter season. I love it. Everything looks so beautiful, colourful dress, ice cream in winter is awesome feeling. And driving is great..wandering new places in winter is like icing on the cake.

My favorite season is summer, because I can have more outdoor activities. It often rains in the spring and I don't like it. It is very dry in the autumn and I won't choose it. Whereas it is so freezing in the winter and I am so afraid of it. This is my summer is my favorite season.

My favorite season of the year is the Christmas season. It's winter season in other country, we don't have snow so we don't call it winter but the weather is so cool. And this is the reason why i like it aside from its christmas and have lot's of party and food.

Ill take some snow and ship it your way, but im affraid it will be melted before it arrives there. In my World Christmas includes alot of family visits and beeing with the family all together, and i certainly enjoy those times aswell...

i always liked the fall the best. the reason being is that it is not too hot and not too cold and we get some nice relief from the extreme summer heat. i also did not mind the winter as long as there was not alot of snow, but as the years go on and i get older i find i hate the winter and have little tolerance for the cold and having to wear coats and gloves etc. i can understand why people move to a warmer climate in the older years. it is just a hardship that makes everything else harder in my opinion. i do not mind the summer months because my son is home from school and i so enjoy his company and i like the longer daylight hours too but once it gets really hot i hate it and i cannot stand the humidity here in nj. so i guess it is still fall for me that is the best. love the colors of the leaves and all and second favorite is the spring when the weather starts to warm up and the flowers start to bloom.

Yeah i can imagine, i also find when i get older (okay i know im not that old at all) That i prefeer the warmer weather even more than the winter, when i was a child i loved the winter because of the snow, now i litterally hate snow compared too. Maybe snow is just for kids?

My favorite season of the year is spring. Everything is fresh and new when I see flowers and trees come back into bloom, I am filled with a warm, fuzzy, feeling inside. I feel like a kid all over again. For another thing, the temperature is just right, not too hot or not too cold.

Well I am from India and we have three seasons here.
Summer, Rainy and Winter
Summer is too hot over here. Currently summer is going on over here.
It is divided in different seasons
From March to mid June its really hot over here (Summer Season)
From Mid June to Mid October it is raining over here (Rainy Season)
From Mid October to Feb it is winter over here (Winter Season)
Well I like the early phase of winter when it is starting to change from Rainy to Winter season.

Ahh yes the external factor of having raining seasons was not included in my first plan, but because i dont experience that at all beeing in the northern europe. I would like to visit India one day, and if i did so what season would be the best, compared to prices and ofcause heat (im a pale scandinavian that will end like lobster if boiling hot and sun)

We only have two season in our country since we are in the middle of the globe. The rainy days and the sunny days. I love the summer part since this is the right to have vacation and beach outing. the sad thing, it will ruin your skin. Haha! But I still love it. There's a lot to do when it sunny and the sun is up compared to the rainy season. Well, if I become a vampire, I need to choose the rainy seasons. Have a good day!

I like spring. Because there are beautiful flowers, green tress,good weather which is warm and windy. It is a good season for travelling. For me spring is the most fantastic season.

Sounds like you need to move to the antarctica ay? OR the very northn part of like Russia, Greenland, or maybe even Canada would do it. Question is if the rest of your family would be willing to do it aswell...?

My favourite season is winter. In winter climate is not only cold but also very much pleasing. Especially i india where the conditions are of tropical kind, we feel the heat of the sun much in other seasons and winter is the one season which the children also come to terms with.

Hi,I like your opinion, my favorite season is spring, just like you say, spring means new start, and I like the spring bright greens.
Summer is too hot here, so just make me a little uncomfortable.

Im glad you like my oppinion, and seasons are hard to choose between. The best with spring is when you can smell the spring air comming in and removing the cold and wet winter air...

HI Downwindz. I agree all the season are unique. I prefer Spring and Summer. The grass starts coming up and the flowers, then the hot days for swimming and cookouts. Fall is nice with the changing color of the leaves, but then there is winter. I am not much of cold weather person, seeing the snow fall for the fist time is nice. So for me its Spring and Summer. I also find winter very cold in the northern part of europe, and you need to wear warm jackets and look really funny. Summer you get to be completly opposite and in some periods you would even wish it was colder.

I think the best season of all is Spring! Although there is a lot of rain, spring is definitely a great transition from winter to summer. It's peaceful and beautiful! The kids finally get to go outside without freezing and you don't always have to wear a jacket! Not to mention, the flowers! All the rain helps them grow and bloom into beautiful beings. Spring makes me the happiest. Plus, it doesn't hurt that my birthday is in the spring. In fact, it's on Earth Day! For most people who don't know when that is, it's on April 22. I often think that it is a forgotten "holiday." Yes, "holiday" is in quotations because it's technically not a holiday. But, people should celebrate it because if it weren't for the earth, no one would be alive. I hope everyone enjoys spring!

I wish you an early happy birthday then... :P The only thing with birthdays is i dont like to get older, but i still keep in mind that your not older than what you feel :)
Yeah kids getting outside, but can sometimes be hard, especially with the spoiled kids that only play computer all day.
