Most of the metro dwellers like me would have never done that. Last week I was on a visit to my village & saw children taking bath at the village river. It was a joy for me to join them there. Its a very amazing experience....
Any of you have done that before...???

Hello Udit,
Even I'm from a metro but then I have been lucky enough because when I was a child my parents always made it a point to take me to our native village at least once a year. That ways I kept connected with the people there and lived the lifestyle that villagers live, which included bathing in a river as well.

I've had to bathe myself in a lake or river whenever we went camping. When I was a kid we'd go to the Adirondack Mountains every summer, and we had a cabin up there, but there was no plumbing. So we'd go down to the lake and take a bath in the lake.

That would have been a nice experience for you. I went to camping many a times in my school & college days but never got a chance to take a bath in a natural water source...

I used to swim in rivers and waterholes where the water is cold or cooler for us metro dwellers. i used to work in a mountain area for a project and one of my work is doing camp outs with kids so we do cmping near rivers. And sometimes or most of the time during my free time i go up to the mountains with my city friends and enjoy the river or hunt for secret waterholes to enjoy cool waters.
