Online or Offline Friends, Who do you prefer?

I like both my friends but in the end the physical relationship is very important to me. Actually knowing who someone is. You never know who is behind a computer, it could be one person or multiple people, they could pretend to be someone else or who knows what. It can be very enjoyable to meet people online but I would never, ever prefer it over real life friends.

I have never met internet friends and do not intend to do so. I have a good bunch of offline friends and I am very comfortable with them. Somehow, I do not feel comfortable with the idea of meeting people I know online.

Hi otobits, it depends on my mood as well as situation. Friends of online and offline are totally different. I could meet and stay together with my friends in real life when we have free time at the same time only. At the moment all of us are busy with our office work, household chores respectively. We could gather and enjoy our happy hours by chatting, laughing and eating together once in a while. I could chat with my online friend at anytime as long as we get on internet at the same time. We could chat with topics which we are interested though we live at distance. Time and space is not problems anymore. It’s rather disappointed that we couldn’t share our foods and drinks together. i prefer real life friends. I would much rather be doing something with someone in person then sitting online and just chatting with someone. it's not the same. i don't care for the online world as i once did. i feel more emptiness from it because it just doesn't feel real to me or it's not real enough. the feelings are real but sometimes i just really want someone next to me. REALLY next to me and not just being there with words. so i prefer offline but sometimes online friends are better then offline but they can't be there for you like offline ones can at atimes

I prefer offline friends...knowing people online is not much effective as when you meet them offline...meeting people offline helps you to express yourself more clearly and know the other person better.

I wouldn't mind online or offline friends since some of my offline friends are my online friends. We live in a different states since graduated and hardly see each other anymore. The cheapest yet proven work solution is to use the Internet. That way we can still contact one another.

i like both your online friends are good if you just need someone to talk to. i know alot of my online friends like to talk to me cause i don't judge and am i good listener. i don't see many of my offline friends all that often anymore since i moved. i do talk to them on the phone often as i'm not far enough away where its a long distance call. i do have alot of fun with my online friends cause alot of us go on to these gaming sites and we play there and have a good time so i like both.
